Furry Phrenology

Drew this for the background for a page of Order of the Black Dog, which started a new issue recently:

"[Phrenology] is the theory that mental faculties are manifested as separate segments of the brain, which thus means the construction of one’s psychology can be determined by the shape of the skull. Conventional phrenology reason dictates that the shape of the skull is also determined by each species, and thus the skull of certain animals are not conducive to the growth of certain mental faculties. This is often used as a method to support racial superiority of predator species."

I spent way too much time looking into actual phrenology charts for this and a bit of time studying mouse and lion skulls. A lot of the details were fudged for a lot of reasons, mainly that I didn't have time to look up 20 words that we don't use any more, and furry phrenologists would be more concerned with other concepts.
